โœฆ Synopsis


THE occurrence of a fistulous connexion between the kidney or ureter and a n adjacent organ or the body surface is a serious condition, and presents a formidproblem. The condition was first described b y Hippocrates in the fifth century B G and A b e h u s e (1949) was able to collect a total of 340 cases of renal fistula from the world's literature.

A course of chloramphenicol, 250 mg. six-hourly, was instituted, her general condition improved, and the PYrexia tended to A cystoscopy and left retrograde pyelogram was performed one week later.
