โฆ Synopsis
For a known classical basic proximity (separated, EF, LO, RI, or p-proximity), a mechanism is developed to construct a corresponding fuzzy proximity. The order structure of the families of fuzzy basic proximities due to Kotzt: [Comm. IFSA Math. Chapter 1 (1987) 121, and that based on Artico and Moresco [Fuzzy Sets and Systems 21 (1987) 851 are also considered. 0 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
