An investigation was made of scattering-amplitude expansions in functions characterized by the poles of the analytic continuation of the S-matrix elements in the complex angular plane. An analytical expression is given for the one pole contribution to the scattering ampEtude.

β¦ Synopsis
In this paper we describe a recursive procedure for the approximate evaluation of the coefficients of expansion of a function y(x) in a system of polynomials ~. ( ..~(x)1, kEN. Numerical examples and the computational procedure are also discussed.

The Kostka numbers K \* + play an important role in symmetric function theory, representation theory, combinatorics and invariant theory. The q-Kostka polynomials K \* + (q) are the q-analogues of the Kostka numbers and generalize and extend the mathematical meaning of the Kostka numbers. Lascoux an
Polynomial jilters have many applications in real time control, estimation and identification, particularly when information about the system dynamics and noise statistics are not precisely known. In this paper, a generalized recursive algorithm for nth order polynomial jilters is developed. The par
The correlation function of two Walsh functions appears in image processing, signal multiplexing, detection and spectral analysis using Walsh functions. Though Walsh functions are two-valued, their correlation functions are real-valued and rather diffccult to evaluate. A recursive formula is develop
We show that functions of two complex variables which are symmetric and holomorphic on suitable domains can be expanded in locally uniform convergent series of products of LamΓ© polynomials. The result is based on a more general expansion theorem for holomorphic functions defined on a two-dimensional
