โฆ Synopsis
This paper presents a new procedure for loading different sized boxes in a freight container of known dimensions so as to minimize the waste of container space. We incorporate the mechanisms of comparing the solution values with upper bonds to reduce unnecessary calculations.

In this paper, we describe a recursive method for computing interpolants defined in a space spanned by a finite number of continuous functions in R d . We apply this method to construct several interpolants such as spline interpolants, tensor product interpolants and multivariate polynomial interpol
This paper presents a parallel tabu search algorithm for the container loading problem with a single container to be loaded. The emphasis is on the case of a weakly heterogeneous load. The distributed-parallel approach is based on the concept of multi-search threads according to Toulouse et al. [Iss
