✦ Synopsis
Antibodies directed against prostaglandin F*CY and its main circulating metabolite, 13.14-dihydro-15-keto-prostaglandin F*(Y. were insolubilized by reaction with ethylchloroformate. Suspensions of insolubilized antibodies retained immunogenic activity and were useful for the development of a simple and rapid solid phase radioimmunoassay for these two prostaglandins. Using this method, suppression of prostaglandin levels by the influenc: of indomethacin in Go has been observed. Advantages of solid phase radioimmunoassay over current procedures are discussed.
