Two-dimensional granular gold films (2D-G(Au)F) with different mass thicknesses were prepared by thermal evaporation in vacuum. The plastic substrate was polyethylene terephthalate, Melinex, held at ambient temperature during deposition. The dependence of the direct current (d.c.) resistance of the
