Quantitative aspects describing the dynamics

of monosaccharides in solution by employing 13C NMR relaxation are reported in this work. This method has been applied to analyze the variable temperature 13C spin-lattice relaxation times of 1,6-anhydro-@-D-glucopyranose, which appears to tumble anisotropically in dimethyl sulfoxide solution.
