## Abstract ## Background. The usefulness of the combination of technetium‐99m‐methoxyisobutylisonitrile (99mTc‐MIBI) parathyroid scintigraphy and ultrasonography to detect parathyroid glands (PTGs) in secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is still controversial. ## Methods. In all, 21 patients w
