## Abstract A dualโ€particle liquidโ€“solid circulating fluidized bed (DPโ€LSCFB) bioreactor has been constructed and investigated for the simultaneous production and extraction of lactic acid using immobilized Lactobacillus bulgaricus and ionโ€exchange resins.
