An unambiguous system for designation of lines and pedigrees in self-fertilizing crops is proposed.
Electronic locks, for which a password is entered on a computer-style keyboard, are described. Certain security problems associated with them are analysed. It is proposed that different labelling of the keyboard keys can reduce this problem. Theoretical figures are provided to support this claim and
