✦ Synopsis

The analysis of high-frequency scattering from electrically large open-ended ca¨ities is addressed in this work. The magnetic field ( ) integral equation MFIE is obtained for the equi¨alent currents on the interior ca¨ity walls and is sol¨ed in a single iteration by using a new ( ) progressi¨e physical optics PPO algorithm. Numerical results that demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed solution are presented.
