74.1 'Designing computer programs for operational planning models' Centre for Environmental Studies, Working Paper 78: London (1972) The computer implementation of mathematical models of urban and regional systems is dealt with. Emphasis is laid on the translation of a conceptual model into a set of operational programs. Two specific models are described. One is a hierarchical activity allocation model programmed in Fortran and the other is a dynamic simulation model of a regional economy.
