โฆ Synopsis
An a priori local error estimator for one-step implicit time-stepping schemes of Padeร type is presented; such algorithms are widely used in structural dynamics. The proper time step h to be done can be calculated by matching a given local accuracy. The numerical process to evaluate h is straightforward and explicit. A simple example shows some signiยฎcant features of the method presented.
