The dynamics of predator-prey models with the Beddington-DeAngelis functional response are analyzed, primarily from the viewpoint of permanence (uniform persistence). The Beddington-DeAngelis functional response is similar to the Holling type 2 functional response but contains an extra term describi

A predator-prey system with two impulses on the diseased prey is formulated and analyzed for the purpose of integrated pest management. The local and global stability of the susceptible pest-eradication periodic solution, as well as the permanence of the system, are obtained under the sufficient conditions by means of Floquet's theory for impulsive differential equations. Finally, we interpret our mathematical results.

In this study, we consider a mathematical model of two competing prey and one predator system where the prey species follow Lotka}Volterra-type dynamics and the predator uptake functions are ratio dependent. Starting from natural planktonic systems, we present a new mechanism involving spatial heterogeneity, and develop a new spatial structure model of planktonic predation systems. Firstly, the effect of diffusion on the dynamics of the system is investigated. We find that diffusion of only prey or both
