An ESR dosimeter reader for the high sensitivity, precise determination of free radicals is presented. The basic superheterodyne design of an S-band ESR spin-induction spectrometrer is implemented with a novel modulation~letection scheme and with a dual channel receiver for directly detecting true resonance intensity and line shapes in an automated, compact, lightweight unit.
