โฆ Synopsis
A system of control and timing circuits is described which together with ;i small, inexpensive digital computer operate as a flexible data acquisition and evaluation instrument in the laboratory. A full description of the operation of the instrument as applied to stopped-flow rapid reaction spectrophotometry and some details of the data reduction program are presented. The computer collects samples of the analog voltage representing the stopped-flow reaction record, smooths these data by a least-squares procedure, calculates absorbance information, and outputs the processed data in a convenient format on paper and as ;t permanent record on punched paper tape.
