We have used a general circulation model of the atmosphere to model the effect on July climate of anomalously warm sea surface temperatures to the northwest and northeast of Australia. The effect on sea level pressure is on the large scale. Significant reductions occur over the area of the temperat

Abstract
Correlation between monthly total ozone anomalies from longβterm monthly means shows a pattern with latitude that is consistent with the concept of Hadley cell circulation modulation. The anomalies are positively correlated with temperature at middle latitudes. Longβterm trends appear to be related to changes in the overall intensity of the Hadley cell circulation and in tropospheric meridional temperature gradients.

## Abstract In a paper by Davies and Oakes (1962) concerning the problem of formulating a model of the general atmospheric circulation, the boundary condition used at the surface of the earth involved the assumption that the surface meridional, zonal, and vertical velocities are zero. In this note
Previous studies of patients have shown that anaesthesia with nitrous oxide (N~2~O) increases the plasma levels of total homocysteine. In a randomised, controlled trial we measured the plasma total homocysteine levels in patients undergoing general surgery before and after anaesthesia with and witho
