A photoelectric colorimetric assay for gentian violet by comparison with a standard powder††The powder accepted as standard in this investigation was supplied by the National Aniline Division of the Allied Chemical & Dye Corporation, Buffalo, N. Y. It is suggested that the U. S. P. Revision Committee establish a standard reference powder.
