A quantitative relationship between the cavity parameters and the angular structure of the emission scattered in a parallelplane active cavity ®lled with an arbitrary set of optical elements has been determined. The multipath interference into the active cavity is demonstrated to have properties whi

✦ Synopsis
This paper describes the development of the networked 'pay-as-you-use' laser printer system. This system allows the user to submit printing jobs remotely and by striping his/her matriculation card through a magnetic card reader obtain the printout of the files on the selected network laser printer. A small interface unit, the PALP unit, designed around a micro-controller provides the user with simple access to the system.
