## Abstract The effect of calcination temperature on the photocatalytic degradation of phenol with aqueous suspensions of synthetic anatase and rutile TiO~2~ under UV light irradiation (__λ__ > 320 nm), was studied in the absence and presence of NaF. The presence of fluoride accelerates the degrada
