โœฆ Synopsis

This paper is concerned with the problem of the shape reconstruction of the inverse problem for heat conduction with two different boundary conditions in a multiple connected bounded domain. We derive the representation for domain derivative of the corresponding operator. This allows the investigation of the iterative regularization methods solving such ill-posed and nonlinear problem. The numerical examples show that our theory is useful for practical purpose and the proposed algorithm is feasible.

In this paper, two linite-element-based schemes for second-order shape sensitivity analysis are presented. In the first formulation, the AV-DD method, the first-order shape sensitivity equation is derived and expressed in terms of state and adjoint variables. The resultant equation is then directly

## Abstract We consider the inverse problem of reconstructing the interior boundary curve of a cavity from the knowledge of the measurements on the exterior boundary. The domain derivative of the corresponding operator is presented, and this allows the investigation of the regularized Newton method
