โฆ Synopsis
In this paper a new methodJor estimating the probability density function of trqffic noise is proposed. The method is based on the hypothesis of the normality of emitted noise by each single noise source as well as the distribution of trqffic flow which depends upon the type of the traffic. The E~ffect of observation time in the measured and predicted density is also examined. The validity o['the method has been compared with experimentally measured densities.
