β¦ Synopsis
In this paper, we develop a numerical approximation to the solution of a system of integral equations arising from a nonlocal hyperbolic reliability model. Convergence of this numerical method is proved. And this numerical scheme is used to study the behavior of the solution.

This paper deals with the numerical solution of nonlinear integro-differential equations modelling a one-dimensional quasi-static contact problem in thermoviscoelasticity. A finite element approximation is proposed and analysed and some numerical results are given.
