โœฆ Synopsis

A numerical algorithm for the calculation of a basis for the root subspace at a nonderogatory eigenvalue of a finite dimensional multiparameter system is given. It is based on the algorithm proposed by KoSir [l]. The perturbation theory for the algorithm is studied and a new stopping criterion is proposed. At the end two numerical examples are given.

In this paper we study a continuous-time multiparameter algebraic Riccati equation (MARE) with an indefinite sign quadratic term. The existence of a unique and bounded solution of the MARE is newly established. We show that the Kleinman algorithm can be used to solve the sign indefinite MARE. The pr
