✦ Synopsis
Three known and one novel furanogermacrenes have been isolated from the resinous exudate of Commiphora h o l t z i a ~ Engl. The structures of the known compounds were determined by comparison of 'Hand "C-NMR spectra with those already published. The structure of the novel compound was determined as 1.2epoxyfurano-10(15)-gemacren-6-one (IV), using spectroscopic techniques. Some previous '%-NMR assignments for the known compounds were corrected or clarified.
