a b s t r a c t Co(II) doped chlorocadmiumphosphate crystals are synthesized in acidic conditions at room temperature. Powder X-ray diffraction data of this compound indicates that it crystallizes in monoclinic space group with lattice parameters a = 1.7720, b = 1.1509, c = 0.9912 nm and β = 100.9°.
