โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

Commercially available probe bases often impose limitations for their use with different setups. The goal of this work was to design and construct a universally applicable probe base to be used in radio frequency (rf) applications such as NMR imaging and spectroscopy. The concept is to support several arbitrarily combinable rf channels as well as additional devices, for example, a climate chamber for plants, an animal handling system, a perfusion device, or further specialized equipment. The concept and a prototype of such a probe base were successfully developed and are presented in this work. ยฉ 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
