β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel compact low temperature coβfired ceramic (LTCC) patch filter is designed with sharp transition bands. The design is based on modified resonators, which can be used to provide transmission zeros located at arbitrary stopband frequency. Simple design procedure of the filter is also described. Good simulation and experimental results are obtained with insertion loss 1.2 dB and return loss of 15 dB at passband. This filter has a compact size of 2.5 mm Γ 4 mm. Β© 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
