✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel composite right/left‐handed transmission line is presented in this letter. The proposed CRLH structure can be considered as a CPW version composed with a pair of parallel spiral interdigital and a conjunctive stub. The spiral interdigital enlarges the series capacitance, and the adjustable conjunctive stub increases the shunt inductance. So, this structure is simpler and more compact compared with the conventional one. Its left‐handed material property is confirmed by simulation and measurement results. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
