Abstract
A novel reconfigurable polarization and pattern antenna with sandwich‐like structure has been proposed. Two crossed slots in ground planes are employed to implement polarizations and patterns reconfiguration by switching the PIN diodes. Simulation and measurement results show this antenna achieved two orthogonal linear polarizations and steered unidirectional radiation patterns. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
