This note deals with the determination of the fundamental frequency of vibration of rectangular plates with edges elastically restrained against rotation. The plate is reinforced by a single integral stiffener placed along one of its center lines. It is assumed that the value of the parameter [/h (stiffener depth/plate thickness) is "moderate".
