## Abstract Let__H~a,b~__ be the commutator generated by the generalized Hardy operator and the CMO function. The (__L^p^, L^p^__) boundedness of __H~a,b~__ is discussed in this paper. Abstract
Fu and Lu et al. 7 showed that the commutator \documentclass{article}\usepackage{amssymb}\begin{document}\pagestyle{empty}$\mathcal {H}_{\beta ,b}$\end{document} generated by the fractional Hardy operator and a locally integrable function b is bounded on the homogenous Herz spaces if and only if b is a central bounded mean oscillation function. We show that their result is optimal by giving a counterexample.

## Abstract The aim of this note is to study the spectral properties of the LUECKE's class __R__ of operators __T__ such that β(__T β zI__)^β1^β=1/__d__(__z, W__(__T__)) for all __z__β__CLW__(__T__), where __CLW__(__T__) is the closure of the numerical range __W__(__T__) of __T__ and __d__(__z, W__
## Abstract The aim of this note is to show how all the commutator estimates of two recent papers, by M. Cwikel, N. Kalton, M. Milman, and R. Rochberg and by N. Krugljak and M. Milman, can be considered as special cases of the method of couples of interpolators introduced by M. J. Carro, J. CerdΓ a
A sufficient condition is found for the product of two Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space of the unit sphere to be a compact perturbation of a Toeplitz operator. The condition leads to a criterion for a Hankel operator to be compact. ## 1997 Academic Press The object of this present paper is to
