✦ Synopsis

During the year since the first issue of Natural Hazards appeared, and in the period leading up to that event, the Editors have taken the advice of 32 scientists who acted as referees.

The success of our journal is in no small way clue to the voluntary exertions of these colleagues. We wish to record their names, together with our heartfelt thanks, and our appreciation of the very real contribution that they have all made by their service to the journal in this, otherwise, anonymous fashion.
