โฆ Synopsis
This has been an unusual year for the Journal. We have been bombarded with new articles in numbers heretofore not experienced by our office. Despite the high levels of expertise and cooperation of our evergrowing legion of reviewers and their prompt and efficient responses to the needs of our authors, waiting time for publication was becoming greater.
As a result of this, and with the total cooperation of our Publisher, we are proud to announce that in 1984, Volume 18 will be expanded from six to nine issues. Our total number of pages will also increase. This, I assure you, will offer our authors a rapid publication time without sacrificing the high quality of our Journal.
I offer particular thanks to the production staff at John Wiley & Sons who put our Journal together and my sincerest and deepest gratitude, not only for the laudable appearance, the beautiful type, the exquisite and colorful covers, but for the general elegance of the publication.
