✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A technique is described for rapid, accurate design of microstrip two‐ and three‐port shunt capacitors such as may occur in lowpass structures. The methods take advantage of simple static calculations used in conjunction with a full‐wave field solver to aid in accounting for parasitic effects in lowpass structure design. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

When the notes were transcribed I submitted the paper to my father for approval or correction. He made little if any change, but requested me not to make use of it during his lifetime.
