We have repeated the experiment on the accurate measurement of the kinetic energy released during the predissaciation of He& ions into the fragments ZIf and He. This experiment was carried out on two machines specially designed for this purpose. The new results differ from those of the original experiment and agree now very weti with the theoretical predic-tiORS.
