A new polymorph of caesium praseodymium polyphosphate, CsPr(PO 3 ) 4 , features PrO 8 polyhedra sharing O atoms with PO 4 groups, yielding a three-dimensional framework. The latter delimits intersecting channels in which the Cs ions are located.
The title compound, C 9 H 8 N 2 , is triclinic (space group P1 with Z H = 6). Six molecules are connected by NÐHÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bonds into centrosymmetric hexamers. The two independent hexamers are related by a pseudosymmetric glide plane.
