✦ Synopsis
A device for linear variation of the concentration of a binary mixture in function of time is described. This device is used to study the dimensional variations of cotton yarns immersed in an aqueous caustic soda solution under a fixed tension while the concentration is increased from 0 to 10". This method is very sensitive and seems of particular interest for the study of fibrous polymer structures.
