β¦ Synopsis
It is of practical importance to have parametric families of fuzzy connectives which are easy to handle and which are rich enough in the situation under consideration. This paper introduces a new axiomatic description to conjunctive and compensative connection of fuzzy sets. The new parametric family of connectives is developed through the use of logical valuation. For the use of logical valuation the dependence of the correcting variable described by linguistic rules is compared with the dependence of the correcting variable calculated by means of an analytical description of the fuzzy controller. The use of the new parameterised fuzzy connective is demonstrated for a hydraulic servo-drive system. The control of the process shows that with the new parameterised fuzzy connective we reach the best result of control, compared with the conventional connectives e.g. t-norms -T-or averaging operators D.

A fuzzy neural network is presented. The network is composed of two parts: an antecedent network and a consequent network. The network acts as a fuzzy logic controller. The antecedent network matches the premises of the fuzzy rules and the consequent network implements the consequences of the rules.
