✦ Synopsis
Thermospray deposition, a new method for the production of glassy films, is described. Infrared spectra of the hydroxyl stretch of glassy water films are presented. The use of hole burning spectroscopy to sensitively distinguish differences in the properties of amorphous films is illustrated for oxazine 72O-doped ethanol-d1 films.
