✦ Synopsis
The divergence of the Born series is overcome by a new method presented here. The state vector is transformed into a new one for which the perturbation series already converges. The choice of transformation vectors appearing in the theory is discussed and ideal choice is found. The previously published distortion operator method corresponds for partial waves to a special choice of the transformation vector (not ideal). The method is limited not only to problems of quantum theory, it is applicable to an arbitrary Fredholm integral equation of the second kind.

In this paper we offer a general method for analysing the demographic processes that contribute to population growth and redistribution in a multiregional system. The method incorporates a historical perspective that can be used to trace dynamic population processes as they evolve over time. It uses
