A new, particularlv simple and reliable method OJ yuantitativejuorine analysis is described; it is based on ihe conversion of insoluble silver oxide into soluble silver fluoride by jluorosilicic acid released from the sample by Willard-Winter-Tananaev steam distillation, the silver fluoride then being determined volumetrically according to Volhard.
