This paper presents a new approach to stabilizing a Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model. A new controller design called proportional parallel distributed compensation (PPDC) is proposed. Different from other works, PPDC parameters are proportioned, which result in dramatic reduction in control parameters
