A system of boundary integral equations of the first kind with piecewise-smooth kernels, to which the boundary-value problems of electroelasticity reduce in the case of steady-state oscillations, is formulated. The proposed approach does not use the idea of fundamental solutions and is based solely on an analysis of the characteristic polynomial of the electroelasticity operator.
