โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A new compact dualโband, dualโpolarized microstrip antenna is presented. This antenna resonates at two frequencies with different polarizations: a linearly polarized one for terrestrial communication, and a circularly polarized one for satellite mobile communication. This antenna also provides an area reduction of 70% compared to a standard rectangular patch antenna.โยฉ 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 29: 315โ317, 2001.

Recently, in order to satisfy the demand for precise and reliable global positioning system (GPS) applications, the dual-band circularly polarized (CP) antenna has been developed. This paper describes a new design of a probe-fed dual-band CP microstrip antenna with two corner-truncated square patche
