## Abstract Microcrystalline ZnNb~2~O~6~ photocatalysts are synthesized by a sol—gel process from mixtures of a niobium‐citrate‐peroxo solution, Zn(NO~3~)~2~, and citric acid (calcination of the obtained gel at 750—950 °C, 4 h).
