β¦ Synopsis
Ah&act-Linear electrical properties of a crystal with a single type of mobile charge carriers placed between two equal electrodes are considered. The frequency response of the described system is calculated by applying the Galerkin method expressing the results by a superposition of standing waves. The charge transfer resistance is incorporated into the position dependent resistivity rather than expressed by boundary conditions. The interfacial resistance is derived analytically as a limiting case for frequencies approaching xero. A method is proposed to determine the interfacial capacitance from the perturbed charge density leading to a welldefhted geometrical meaning.
