## Abstract A new acorane‐type sesquiterpene, 15‐hydroxyacorenone, has been isolated from the culture broth of __Trichoderma harzianum__, which in turn was isolated from the fruiting body of a medicinal mushroom, __Ganoderma lucidum__ (Fr.) Karst. (the oriental crude drug “Lin‐Chi”). The structure
