This manual is designed to provide oral practice supplementary to Section II of T.W.Clark's "Introduction to Nepali" (Cambridge,1963). The 27 chapters containdialogs1 narrative descriptions, drills, exercises, suggestions for guided conversationpractice, notes on the grammar and culture, and references to the grammaticalanalyses in Clark's text. Appended are two supplementary reading sections. With theexception of the grammar and cultural notes, the Nepali material ispresented in Devanagari script.
