capacitance or inductance of the resonant circuit is described, with reference to measurements of oscillatory magnetostriction and NMR. The small frequency changes resulting from changes in the resonant circuit parameters are measured by FM demodulation techniques which avoid the long gating times required by a conventional frequency counter.
